| We finally got a lot of rain in a short time period in early January. This culminated in runs of the Toccoa River and the Tellico River (as seen in the photo).

Expeditions
My primary hobby is whitewater kayaking, but I love to explore the outdoors in a variety of ways. I'm usually up for a good hike, a casual float on a placid lake, or just driving around in a car. I can usually be found in the southern Appalachians within a 150 mile radius of my home near Ringgold, Georgia.

Labor
I currently work as a clinical system analyst in a major regional teaching/trauma hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am always exploring possibilities for software to improve the human condition. In the past, I have focused a lot of my personal time on what is sometimes called "artificial intelligence." I have developed theory that I believe can be used to elevate the user to an additional layer of abstraction beyond what is presently available in the marketplace. I am looking for opportunities to apply these ideas to practical problems, especially for the healthcare market.
